About the jobTo keep pace with growth, Datawords is looking for an:
HR Manager (M/F)
For Datawords Office in Barcelona, reporting the local General Manager and to headquarter HR team, your main responsibilities would include:
Manage overall HR and Administrative functions.
Facilitate an end-to-end HR Lifecycle: Recruitment, Onboarding, Training, People Development and Offboarding best practices.
Roll out HQ projects locally (trainings, HRIS, etc.)
Manage payroll execution in partnership with an external vendor, review employee payments for accuracy and compliance with local labor laws.
Contribute to the lean management and improvement of HR processes.Provide guidelines to managers and employees for their day to day life at work, finding the right balance between authority and flexibility.
Provide efficient and interactive Internal communications and townhall discussions.Ensure a fun and comfortable workplace for employees where health and safety policies are a priority.
Roll out People Reviews Campaigns - such as performance management including promotions, regularizations, performance reviews, disciplinary procedures, and exit procedures.
Manage one Office Manager / HR Assistant.Prepare and lead work council meetings.
Contribute to an international HR community (weekly meetings to share best practices and align on global projects).
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration & Management, Human Resource Management or Psychology
Minimum of 8 years of solid experience as an HR Generalist, HR Manager or HR Business Partner, with minimum of 5 years supervisory/managerial role
Experience working in a dynamic, fast growing and multicultural environment company
Must be familiar with local labor laws and regulations
Ability to work with senior leaders and top management to assess complex issues and provide HR guidance and advise
Ability to define problems, establish facts, analyze situations, and make strong and strategic decisions
Can work independently and with mínimal supervision
Highly capable in managing confidential and sensitive information and issues
Excellent written and verbal communication
Ability to think strategically, and critically
Fluent in Spanish and English, French would be a plus
