    The Position Solution Architect - People & Culture The Solution Architect is responsible for defining and communicating a shared technical and architectural vision across a Solution / Release Train in accordance with the overall Informatics technology strategy and principles to help ensure the system or Solution under development is fit for its intended purpose.

    Solution Architect ensures that the system is designed to run as expected, has built-in observability, balances emergent design, and takes a system view across the full value stream.

    You will work with product managers, product line leads and the business stakeholders to enable and guide the design and development of an integrated view of the business processes and associated business landscape to identify current and future opportunities for synergy, integration, and knowledge sharing.

    You will align with the enterprise architects and other solution architects to realize the vision of the domain and promote platform thinking, reusability, and interoperability.

    You will lead and control cross-solution architecture design questions with vendors, internal and external partners, and design authorities.

    Therefore experiences with ownership of cross-solution designs and leadership skills to lead a diverse team to get to a common design solution proposal is essential.


    Your key responsibilities:
    Providing strategic consultation to assigned line-of-business (LOB) customers in defining or designing business processes, functions, and organizational structures, as well as using customer requirements in researching, identifying, and internally marketing enabling technologies
    Assessing current state of solutions, defines future state needs, identifies gaps, and recommends new technology solutions and strategic business execution improvements
    Business process engineering/re-engineering
    Facilitating stakeholder sessions with personnel across all disciplines in the company to identify and define requirements, assess business processes, and evaluate technology solutions
    Conducting solution architecture research, PoCs, PoVs, and feasibility assessment, and facilitate solution application selections
    Formulating business and logical data and solution architectures comprised of software, network, hardware, and integration designs
    Conducting impact assessments and mitigation plans
    Working closely with Enterprise Architects on defining long-term architecture vision, integration patterns, and review of a technical portfolio
    Creating and owning the Solution Architecture documentation
    Developing IT Strategy & Roadmap consistent with the overall strategic needs of the business division.

    Your qualifications and experience:
    Bachelor's degree in computer science, systems analysis, or a related study, or equivalent experience
    7-10 years of professional IT experience. The person must have demonstrated an ability to think strategically and translate plans into operational excellence
    Deep expertise & business knowledge in HR and Learning Management Solutions Implementation expertise in major platforms such as Workday, ServiceNow, Cornerstone Expertise in multiple technology domains (e.g. Cloud, Automation, Data, AI)
    Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies
    Remains "evergreen" and keeps up-to-date with technology trends and emerging technologies
    Demonstrated ability to develop and articulate a vision for one or more technology domains
    Proven experience in creating architecture designs using a formal architecture framework methodology – TOGAF, Zachman
    Ability to understand the long-term ("big picture") and short-term perspectives of situations
    Demonstrated ability to frame complex issues and persuade a wide and diverse audience
