JOB DESCRIPTION:


Distribution Rules team is responsible for ensuring Hotelbeds product and client's distribution are aligned to the company strategy of being our partners No1 ally in the marketplace with the aim of strengthen Hotelbed's good reputation in terms of distribution maintaining the balance between sales and product protection.


This role oversees product distribution at worldwide level and reports to the Senior Distribution Manager apart of having a strong relationship with stakeholders from different teams, especially with Hotelbeds Sourcing, Large Chains Managers and Sales Account owners who are involved in most of the key processes related to distribution compliance.

The Senior Distribution Rules Analyst is a key position to support and supervise Hotelbeds's Distribution strategy.

The decisions and actions applied by this role have a direct impact on Hotelbeds sales and requires a high and deep level of knowledge of rate distribution, parity landscape, client's business models and Hotelbeds systems and processes at the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Define, implement, and follow up a tailored and datadriven Distribution strategy for Hotelbeds Top Suppliers completely aligned to our partner's demand and market evolution.
  • Build a close relationship with Sourcing and Large Chains teams to support them in their strategic initiatives, deep dive into their problematic in terms of distribution and propose solutions.
  • Provide updates and build reporting related to Distribution initiatives and performance, impacts, risks, issues, and corrective actions proposed, communicating them across stakeholders and management.
  • Support the current Product Categorization process (Sensitive & Absolute buckets).
  • Deep understanding of Top Offenders business models to propose corrective actions with the minimum impact in volumes.
  • Ensure Salesforce processes and information quality and completeness requesting any necessary improvements and testing to guarantee their functionality regarding Distribution.
  • Work creatively and analytically demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and databased decisions.
  • Contribute to any key strategic initiative within the company involving Distribution.
Role profile

  • Good analytical and conceptual skills with the ability to manage and analyze big sets of data for the decisionmaking process.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. Experience in presenting to executive sponsors and at all levels of management.
  • Ability to identify and define priorities.
  • Ability to collaborate actively with the rest of the team and multiple areas to achieve common objectives.
  • Motivation to deep dive into problems causes and capacity to solve them.
  • Ability to adapt to changes and work under pressure.

Qualifications:


  • Professional education.
  • 5 years of experience in the industry. Experience in Distribution Control is a plus.
  • Advanced level of Excel and Power Point. Knowledge of Salesforce, Tableau, Thinkcell and Hotelbeds inhouse systems appreciated.
  • Advance level of English.
