How to contribute to our vision

  • Be responsible for the purchase volume in one or more areas of Business Travel (Air, Hotel, Rental car, Travel agencies & other aggregators, Pay methods/credit cards, etc.)
  • Define and implement a global sourcing strategy in that areas, in close alignment with the Procurement Category Manager for Mobility Services (who is responsible & accountable for the purchase volume in Business Travel & Company Car Fleet altogether)
  • Identify and manage procurement risks, opportunities and market forces to avoid potential damage and to exploit potential opportunities through tailored actions
  • Lead global tendering, contracting, and other supplier related activities, such as supplier introduction, qualification, and development
  • Lead and/or support improvement initiatives in the area of your responsibility, e.g., the rollout of companywide processes and digital tools in Travel booking & reimbursement
  • Cooperate closely with internal customers (requesters) to ensure customer care and early involvement and to jointly define the service assortment and requirements
  • Plan, monitor, extract data and report on relevant KPIs to contribute to the success of the business and make results transparent
What you need to make a difference

Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change.

We are also looking for someone with:

  • A successful university degree in tourism or travel, and/or a commercial area
  • Approximately 7 years of relevant working experience in Procurement of Travel and/or Travel management
  • Comprehensive experience in Travel commodities (such as Air, Hotel, Rental car, Travel agencies & other aggregators, Pay methods/credit cards, etc.) and according service providers
  • Comprehensive experience in digital travel booking & travel expense systems and processes (e.g., SAP Concur, Cytric, etc.) as well as digital Procurement platforms (e.g., SAP Ariba)
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with internal business and external collaboration partners/suppliers at middle to senior management level
  • Strong analytical, planning and project management skills; results driven personality; excellent and experienced negotiation skills in procurement
  • Proficiency in English (B2/C1) and in Spanish (B2/C1) both orally and in writing
  • Flexibility to travel approximately once or twice a month if needed (post pandemic)
  • Strong skills in Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI)
