About Lola Market:

Lola Market/Mercadão is a Glovo company specialized in on-demand delivery of big basket orders.

With a presence in Portugal and Poland, we make sure our customers are able to choose from a wide range of retailers and have their orders delivered in less than 2 hours.

We are currently a team of 20 people with different skills and backgrounds. Your work will have a direct impact on thousands of daily customers

About You:

We are looking for an Engineer Manager that is very comfortable with management practices and is a strong project manager.

As a leader you'll ensure that you are tracking the team's efficiency and quality of work, you'll assist in regularly adjusting processes and timelines to ensure high quality work is delivered.

The Role:

Capable of identifying headcount needs, planning and recruiting to fill needs.
Determine the need for training and talent development.
Provide clear and concise instructions to engineering teams.
Lead research and development projects that produce new designs, products, and processes.
Check the team's work for technical accuracy.
Coordinate work with other managers and staff.

Our Requirements:

Must have:

Proven work experience as an Engineer Manager.
Strong technical background.
Analytical skills for evaluating information carefully and solving complex problems.
Excellent communication skills for overseeing staff and working with other managers.
Detailoriented with the ability to catch minor errors which can result in major problems.
Organizational skills.
Good English communication skills.
