¿Dónde trabajarás?:
We are looking for a Director of International Logistics for an American company dedicated to the sports sector with headquarters all over the world.
¿Qué harás?:
- As Director of International Logistics, you will be responsible for delivering the strategy for the storage, transportation and delivery of all goods across the CDC network supporting the LGM international business.
In your day to day:
- >Strategy
- You will put in place clear and executional strategic plans for the full logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer service operations across the LGM International business.
- You will plan, build, recruit with the Vice President of Global Logistics a logistics team to support the current and future business for LGM International.
- You will review and set up CDC hubs internationally to support the global execution of retailing ecommerce, events and 365 retailing where needed.
- You will plan and put in place the best practice operation, through the logistics team and third parties, the smooth delivery of stock to all retail channels with a disciplined and wellorganized delivery plan to support the teams set up ready for trading at events, for online customer fulfilment and/or other retails needs as and when appropriate.
- You will drive through the business so that all systems and processes are in place and being followed to always maintain the highest levels of stock control and discipline in the execution of stock management. Review when not delivering to the highest standards, adapt and change and implement needed changes quickly, efficiently and cost effectively.
- You will ensure the team provide and maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements.
- You will ensure that the business has the right systems and reports to keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency at all times and make changes to ensure highest levels are achieved.
- You will be responsible for monitoring performance of the CDC sites and report to internal team and partner when and how appropriate when performance levels are not being achieved.
- You will ensure all health and safety compliance is in place for the distribution network under our direct control and audit/check those standards of our 3PL providers fall into the correct legislation and delivery.
¿A quién buscamos?:
- You are the person we are looking for if:
- You have at least 8 years of experience in a similar positions in logistics companies. Experience in retail will be valued.
- You have minimun 3 years of experience in team management.
- You have a Bachelor's degree in International Commerce or related.
- You have an advanced level both in English and Spanish. Other languages will be considered.
- You are able to work in a team environment with internal and external stakeholders across many international
