We are Semrush, a global IT company developing our own product - a platform for digital marketers.

And this is our Account Manager role for those who can find a common language with anyone in the world.


Tasks in the role:


  • Operating as the lead point of contact for all matters specific to your accounts (App Center current and potential partners).
  • Building and maintaining strong, longterm partner relationships.
  • Research and source new potential app vendors, pitching App Center offerings.
  • Overseeing partners' account management, including negotiating contracts and agreements to maximize profit.
  • Participate in developing a partner growth strategy and coach partners on gaining more revenue from the app.
  • Execute daytoday partner management tasks: interact with partners, create winwin by matching partners' needs, prioritize partners' needs, answer questions, and help with payments. Resolve partners' complaints in an effective and respectful way.
  • Follow up with partners, provide, and collect feedback and facilitate partnership processes to achieve app integration and meet the set app targets within a certain period.
  • Gather, report, and communicate partners' feedback on service, technology, and product delivery.
  • Measure, track, and analyze key account metrics.
  • Ensure the issued partners' commissions are delivered in a timely manner. Collaboration with the Finance team to make sure partners get their commission counted right and paid out on time.
  • Collaboration with the Legal team to ensure the proper legal workflows.
  • Creation of the reports.
  • Track, analyze, and communicate quantitative metrics and business trends as they relate to partners while prioritizing corrective measures when needed.
  • Perform other tasks as required.

Who we are looking for:


  • Fluent English is a must (C1/C2).
  • Previous working experience as an Account Manager or Partner Manager, preferably in SaaS business.
  • Problemsolving and negotiation skills.
  • Attention to detail and good active listening skills.
  • Technical literacy and experience with MS Office (particularly MS Excel).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Understanding of SEO and digital marketing will be an advantage.
  • Experience in customer service will be an advantage.
  • Solid experience with CRM software will be an advantage (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho CRM, or HubSpot).
  • Enthusiasm and motivation.
  • Maintaining the attitude that nothing is outside your job description.
  • Ability to work independently.

Semrush has launched and is further developing its own App Center that aims to become the go-to place to find best-in-class marketing solutions integrated within Semrush.

The tools are developed by third-party vendors and by Semrush.

Each app featured within our App Center is hand-picked by the Semrush team to ensure quality, reliability, and provide exclusive deals for our users.


We are a Partner Relationship Team consisting of four people, and the team is working from different locations—Spain, Serbia, and Cyprus.
