    Job Title: Concierge

    Fairmont La Hacienda is an exclusive resort in southern Spain, offering luxurious 5-star hotel accommodations and branded residences with breathtaking sea views.

    As a Concierge at Fairmont La Hacienda, you will be responsible for providing exceptional luxury and service to our esteemed guests. Your role will be crucial in crafting unforgettable experiences, ensuring every detail of their stay is meticulously attended to.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Welcome and greet guests with warmth and professionalism, using their names whenever possible.
    2. Coordinate with bell attendants to ensure luggage reaches guest rooms safely and efficiently.
    3. Manage the bell desk team, communicating guest requests and coordinating luggage delivery or retrieval, and buggy handling.
    4. Organize parking and vehicle retrieval for guests, ensuring safety and quality standards.
    5. Maintain accurate records of cars in the parking lot, verified with security to prevent unauthorized vehicles.
    6. Provide expert knowledge of hotel services and local events, attractions, dining options, and transportation services.
    7. Handle guest inquiries, coordinating with external vendors for services such as car rentals and tour bookings.
    8. Offer personalized solutions to meet guests' needs and exceed expectations.
    9. Build strong relationships with guests, anticipating their needs and delivering exceptional service.
    10. Deliver mail, messages, packages, and other items requested by guests.
    11. Assist guests with purchases outside of the hotel.
    12. Manage lost and found requests, working closely with Housekeeping as needed.
    13. Maintain open communication channels with all hotel departments to ensure seamless guest service.
    14. Collaborate with other departments to provide a smooth experience for our guests.
    15. Attend regular team meetings and participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
    16. Address maintenance and repair needs promptly, ensuring guest satisfaction.
    17. Escorts guests to their rooms, explaining hotel facilities and promoting additional services.
    18. Answer incoming calls to the hotel's main line in the absence of the guest relations team.
    19. Ensure the lobby area and access areas are clean and organized.
    20. Maintain a visible presence at the door desk during shift hours.

    Qualifications:

    1. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
    2. Dynamic can-do attitude, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
    3. Presents a professional appearance, effectively dealing with guests and other team members.
    4. Organized, capable of multi-tasking, and completing work within given deadlines.
    5. Maintains confidentiality of proprietary information.
    6. Available to work on shifts, including weekends.
    7. Strong team player, maintaining positive working relationships.
    8. Highly organized, results-oriented, and able to work well under pressure.
    9. Possesses a creative mindset, a desire to learn and grow.
    10. Proficient in Microsoft Windows applications and Opera PMS.
    11. Friendly, proactive, and professional attitude.

    Physical Demands:

    1. This position requires focus, calmness, and courtesy when interacting with guests. Occasional standing, driving, walking, and carrying luggage.
    2. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.

    Requirements:

    1. Post-secondary education in Travel and Tourism or equivalent is a plus.
    2. Preferably 1-2 years in a customer-facing position, especially in a luxury or lifestyle hotel.
    3. Driver's license B.
