Proud to have customers who rely on you? Our Technical Support Engineers are.
As Technical Support Engineers, you'll be responsible for providing remote technical support and expertise to Customers, internal Customer Support teams, Field Service teams.
You will ensure that cases are actioned accordingly to the customer needs and deliver the agreed service in every touch point.
In this role, your main tasks will look a lot like this:- Troubleshooting production issues (machine breakdown, performance issues etc.) at customers' sites or remotely
- Keep in touch with, and report to the customer about the technical problems / recomendations / progress with the issue.
- Follow the global standardized guidelines for request handling covering prioritization, escalation, routing, response time etc.
- Advising technical solutions against to modification requests of customers.
- Identify and advise required standard and nonstandard spare part packages as part of the request handling
- Ensure high data discipline using Marel's service tools
- Supporting technically of local engineers on major installation projects
- Train the customer and feedback results to your colleagues.
- Expected to travel up to % to customers' locations or other Marel offices for technical training

- have a background in mechatronic engineering (knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering)
- have ideally previous experience as Field Service Engineer with strong mechatronic skills
- have at least 5 years of relevant working experience
- possess good commands of English language both written and verbally. Spanish is a plus.
- have ideally experience in the Food Processing industry
