Laboratory TechnicianLocation:

Barcelona, Spain Scentmate by Firmenich is looking for a full-time laboratory assistant to be based in Barcelona, and participate in the creation of a laboratory on a new initiative.

The focus is on mid to small European customers in all product categories.


Key Responsibilities:

Compound fragrance oils for perfumers in a timely manner with the right qualitySupport perfumers at laboratory and formula administration levelReport any problem that would arise during compounding, including turbidity, crystallization...

Participate in the laboratory set-up and daily routinesManage stock of ingredients,fragrance library and laboratory suppliesRespect health and safety rulesCollaborate actively with the rest of the laboratory and creative team

We Value: 2-5 years experience in a compounding role within the fragrance industryInterest in working with all laboratory techniques and softwareFluent in Spanish.

Good basic English. French is a plus.
