Key Responsibilities:


Workplace team oversee:

  • Oversee the activities in the workplace team ensuring the proper development, standardization and management of the company's global IT assets. This includes the supervision of the development, deployment, updating, and supporting custom Windows OS images for computers with the aim to have an homologated environment and also Android devices homologation and standardization.
  • This position will be also responsible for supervision of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) environment ensuring the best performance and usage.
  • Develop the Digital Workplace program: Lead the planning, communication, assessments and implementation of key digital projects within the workplace
  • Monitor analytics and tool usage: regular assess what tools are and are not working for the organization and improve upon processes to make the experience seamless and maximize impact.

Project Management:

  • Interact with Project Management Office to implement project management standards within IT Infrastructure
  • Act as project manager when requested, especially if a project is related with centralized management of Infrastructure components
  • Take initiative to improve collaboration between people in various IT Infra teams

Licensing supervision:

  • Ensure proper usage of licenses, report needs & compliance issues

Documentation, Training & Awareness:

  • Ensure proper documentation regarding management of software, equipment and licensing
  • Ensure proper knowledge transfer & training related with various central management tools
  • Maintain & share awareness of technology trends & emerging technologies
  • Actively communicate and promote the creation and use of standards & documentation

Third party oversee:

  • Explore innovative & emerging technology offerings (services & equipment) with suppliers
  • Engage with external suppliers escalate incidents and ensure proper problem resolution times, representing all IT Infra teams
  • Manage relationship with suppliers ensuring SLA's & performance KPIs delivered by external suppliers compliance

Innovation & Improvement:

  • Actively seek ways to innovate technology, optimize cost, and improve performance
  • Engage with various departments to identify "Use Cases" for implemented technology.
  • Ensure creation of Use Cases and communicate to the organization
  • Define action plans to improve overall service level, manage implementation projects to improve security & reliability

Processes & Standards:

  • Manage proper implementation & execution of core processes
  • Create & Manage Infraspecific standards documentation
  • Organize incident handling within Infrastructure, document incident management processes
  • Organize formal change management process within Infra & engage with other IST areas in relation with change management

Collaboration & Business Relationship:

  • Collaborate with all IT teams on projects & activities
  • Establish an ongoing collaborative relationship with all IT teams to share & prioritize initiatives, and ensure a realistic use of available resources
  • Ensure that actionable & measurable service level objectives are identified, agreed upon, measured, reported and achieved
  • Identify problems & propose improvements for an efficient resolution
  • Involve all necessary parties in third level support issues
