QA Engineer
to join our

and help ensure the reliability of our global payments platform.

Role Scope

Responsibilities may vary based on experience, but typical responsibilities include:

• Manual testing and exploratory validation
• API testing and backend validation
• Web platform testing (cloud-hosted terminal management system/back-office)
• Exposure to test automation or hands-on automation
• Collaboration across devices, SDKs, gateways, and cloud services

Tech Stack & Tools

You will work with a modern QA stack, including:

• Programming / Scripting:
  JavaScript, TypeScript, Python
• Automation:
  Playwright (strongly valued), Selenium, Appium
• API testing:
  Postman (manual & automated)
• BDD:
  Gherkin, Cucumber
• CI/CD:
  Jenkins (test execution and automation pipelines)
• Tools:
  Jira, Confluence
• Methodologies:
  Agile / Scrum

What You'll Do

• Execute and maintain
  test plans and test cases
• Validate
  readers, SDKs, APIs, gateways, and web platforms
• Perform exploratory testing and identify risk areas
• Report, track, and analyze defects using Jira
• Collaborate closely with developers, product, and QA teammates
• Contribute to
  automation efforts
  (Playwright, API tests, CI pipelines)
• Help improve QA processes, documentation, and coverage

What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days)

• Contribute to at least one release cycle with clear QA ownership and measurable impact on quality or regression coverage
• Take ownership of a functional area (SDK flow, gateway scenario, web module, or device validation slice) and maintain its validation strategy
• Improve or extend regression coverage (manual or automated) in a defined area of the platform
• Identify and document at least one production risk, edge case, or process improvement opportunity
• Contribute to improving automation reliability or CI validation stability

Required Qualifications

• Technical education:
  Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering
  , or similar
• Knowledge of
  programming fundamentals
  (JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or similar)
• Understanding of
  software testing concepts
  (test cases, regression, coverage)
• API testing experience
• Analytical mindset and attention to detail
• Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Good level of
  English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with
  test automation frameworks
• Web automation with Playwright, Selenium, or Appium
• Experience working in
  Agile environments
• Exposure to
  payments, POS systems, fintech
  , or gateways
• Knowledge of EMV concepts
  is a plus
