    Job Title: Backend Engineer

    To support our backend engineering team, we are seeking a skilled Backend Engineer to be based in our Barcelona office.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Tackle complex technical challenges and improve our e-commerce platform by analyzing, designing, and developing systems.
    • Collaborate with the QA team to build, test, and deploy new features seamlessly.
    • Continuously refine and optimize the codebase through thoughtful refactoring to improve maintainability.
    • Ensure the usability, performance, and stability of our live systems with continuous improvements and updates.
    • Maintain high standards of code quality by participating in regular code reviews with the team.
    • Document new applications and software solutions thoroughly to ensure smooth knowledge transfer across the team.

    Requirements:

    • PHP expertise, including experience with the Symfony Framework.
    • Familiarity with large-scale e-commerce systems and understanding of the domain's challenges and best practices.
    • Experience building APIs and ensuring their performance and security.
    • Familiarity with the Amazon Web Services (AWS) ecosystem and its cloud offerings (SQS, SNS, S3).
    • Golang experience is a plus, but willingness to learn is also valued.
    • Strong communication skills in English and ability to thrive in a team environment.
