Job Description:

Position Purpose

Chep has developed a number of vision systems to inspect the company products. The main systems are the ADI (Automatic Digital Inspection) and the ISPM vision system.

The ADI assures the quality inspection of the products while the ISPM complies with the International Phytosanitary Measures. Both technologies are deployed and operational through different countries in Europe.


This resource will lead all technical problem solving & provide support to achieve quick resolutions to on-going performance challenges and to develop any vision related project associated with ADI, ISPM and future systems in Europe.

Major/Key Accountabilities

  • Responsible for providing ongoing maintenance & troubleshooting support to the plants which will ensure sustained ADI and ISPM performance post startup
  • Work closely with plant team to troubleshoot and resolve ADI & ISPM performance issues
  • Develop vision projects of current and new vision systems in coordination with Global Process Technology team
  • Perform data analysis (What-If, Scenario and sensibility analysis) to develop and support projects
  • Manage ADI and ISPMs quality configurations to fit regional business needs aligned with Operations and Quality departments
  • Develop new monitoring functionalities for the vision systems
  • Communicate with stake holders the implementation process, design, and data analysis findings

Qualifications:


  • Degree Level in Computer Science or equivalent
Experience

  • 15 years C++ programming experience
  • 12 years on Computer Vision Development projects
Skills and Knowledge

Desirable:

  • Machine Learning experience
  • Python programming capabilities

Degree and equivalent - Computer and Information Science

  • 5 years
