RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop and implement IT strategies, systems, and infrastructure to support the bank ́s operations and goals in several cloud models (SaaS, PaaS, DRaaS and on-premises).

Manage and oversee the IT department, including personnel and budget management.

Manage a small local team in charge of first line and second line EUT support / Sys Admin /Network Admin / patching management of local Infrastructure.

Ensure the security and integrity of the bank ́s IT systems and data. Implement global Cybersecurity initiatives and projects on IT infrastructure.

Stay up to date with the latest technology trends and advancements and identify opportunities for the bank to leverage them.

Manage infrastructure projects (obsolescence, new technologies and migrations)
Work closely with other departments to understand their IT needs and develop solutions to support them.

Provide technical support/consultancy for Business projects:
dev/sec/ops role, technology consultant role, communications implementation's role + Cybersecurity role.

Manage and maintain relationships with external IT vendors and partners (offers request, purchasing, capacity planning, budget management, cost committee, contracts).

Manage incidents related to the infrastructure.
Manage communications (VPNs and Internet lines) for local infrastructure.
Prepare periodical reporting of Key Risk Indicators/Key Performance Indicators, User Access review for the entity.
Manage M365 Access for local and external users for the entity.
Manage internal control tasks, mitigation plans and internal controls reviews.
Manage DRP + Backups for local infrastructure.
Manage CMDB and inventory for infrastructure.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management, preferably in the banking or financial services industry
Strong leadership and management skills.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Fluency in English and French or Spanish is required, Dutch is a plus.
Certain certifications may be required or preferred: ITIL, COBIT, Cloud,...

LOCATION:
Based in Madrid, availability to travel to Belgium every 6 months.
