An opportunity for a Supply Management Production has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe (Madrid)
Procurement is looking for new colleagues
We are looking for a Supply Manager Production & Projects for Military Air Systems


Responsibilities:


The main tasks of the jobholder will be:

  • Lead interface with Internal customer and collaboration with stakeholders during the ordering phase
  • Interact with suppliers (remotely and/or at suppliers) and with transversal departments for the implementation of corrective actions and ensuring settlement of disputes.
  • Provide oversight of the amount of inventories and implement action plans with suppliers.
  • Analyze the delays & prioritize the urgencies in view of emergency assembly lines and customer support. Pilot operational short and long term action plans (delay retrofit, missing parts,
improvement of the logistic flows...).

  • Ensure availability of export control licenses (Not ECCD) related to hardware deliveries
  • Raising risks, actions followup, reporting and escalation in case on deviation to industrial target (incl. inservice issues), identify critical WP/deliverables and initiate mitigation actions in
coordination with transversal functions

  • Manage Non Conformity containment (L1) in regards to customer protection and secondary flows
  • Perform all defined quality inspections operations up to the product delivery (including e.g. software)
  • Carry out at operational level investigations on any issues in coordination with the plant, propose and perform containment actions in collaboration with SO and supplier
  • Attest conformity of the product with regard to the approved design (e.g. certifying staff)
  • Provide oversight of the amount of inventories and implement action plans with suppliers.
  • Analyze the delays & prioritize the urgencies in view of emergency assembly lines and customer support. Pilot operational short and long term action plans (delay retrofit, missing parts,
improvement of the logistic flows...).

  • Ensure availability of export control licenses (Not ECCD) related to hardware deliveries
  • Participate to improvement projects and best practices exchange activities
  • Ensure ethical & compliance way of working in accordance with the Airbus Code of Conduct

SKILLS

  • At least 3 years of experience in Procurement / Supply Chain with experience in AOG POs management
  • Experience in Logistics and familar with Airbus Logistics flows.
  • Experience working in MRTT Programme and supporting and/or deep knowledge of Green Aircraft.
  • Procurement IT Tools
  • Team work and adaptation are a must for this position
  • Proactive person with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Organized & Structured.
  • Advanced level in English and Spanish
