The Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Laboratory Technician will work in a cutting-edge research unit, utilizing state-of-the-art NMR experiments to support scientists and researchers. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of tasks including instrument maintenance, user training, and experiment preparation.

Job Description

• To provide expert technical assistance to users of the NMR Unit, ensuring smooth operation and optimal performance of equipment;
• To undertake routine maintenance tasks on NMR instruments, including cleaning and calibration;

Key Responsibilities:

1. Maintain accurate records of all activities performed within the unit;
2. Identify opportunities for process improvements;

Required Skills & Qualifications

We are looking for an individual with strong technical knowledge of NMR instrumentation, as well as excellent communication skills. A degree in Chemistry or related field is essential. Prior experience working with Bruker NMR instruments would be highly valued.
