POSITION PURPOSE


Be in charge together with the Restaurants and Bar Manager to development and implementation of departmental strategies and ensures implementation of the brand service strategy and brand initiatives.

Direct report to the Restaurants & Bar Manager.


FUNCIONES ESENCIALES
üTo lead the team with a strong hands-on operational focus.

üSupervising daily F&B shift operation.

üEnsuring compliance with all F&B policies, standards and procedures, and develop then if necessary.

üAssisting the Management, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling and coaching employees.

üCollaborate with F&B administrative procedures.

üFocus on financial objectives, plan actions and events in the department, oversee purchasing and control costs.

üAnalyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.

üTo deputize for the Restaurant & Bar Manager in his absence if required

üTo advise the F&B manager of guest comments or complaints and to initiate a response

üTo project a positive and professional image to all contacts at all times

üMaintain open communication with other departments and throughout the property to handle special request, promoting guest satisfaction.


SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES**üMust be able to speak, read, write and understand Spanish & English, German will be a plus.

üRequires good communication skills, both verbal and written.

üAbility to supervise subordinate staff, evaluating service and taking disciplinary action when necessary.

üAbility to solve problems and make rational decisions.

üKnowledge of hotel food and beverage operations.

üSales oriented in order to drive additional revenues

üHigh level of computer skkills


QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

Education
üHigh school or equivalent education required. Bachelor's Degree preferred or Certification in Restaurant Management.

ü- 2 years previous experience in supervisor position in 4-5* Hotel.

üKnowledge of computer accounting programs, math skills as well as budgetary analysis capabilities required.
