ApoQlar is transforming the practice, experience, learning, and sharing of medicine with VSI HoloMedicine, a certified mixed reality platform leveraging Microsoft HoloLens hardware.

Our mission is to enhance patient outcomes, empower clinical professionals, and educate the next generation of medical practitioners.

The VSI HoloMedicine is FDA and CE approved, active in 50+ reference sites globally and a registered trademark in the EU, Singapore and the USA.


In a period of rapid growth and ongoing VC investments, we're seeking a Business Development Representative located in Barcelona or nearby to cover the companies activities in the Iberian peninsula.

The primary objective of this position is to support a large-scale implementation of ApoQlar's portfolio in a hospital located in Barcelona to proactively encourage the adoption of the technology to maximize its use and benefits.

Following implementation of this site the core focus will switch to rapid business development in other major centers from Portugal to Catalonia and everywhere in between - as well as ensuring as high level of ongoing support at the hero site in Barcelona.**
Responsibilities:
  • Identify business opportunities through systematic tracking of market trends and competitive analysis
  • Conducting presentations and product demonstrations for potential customers
  • Tracking sales opportunities and closely collaborating with the sales team around the world
  • Work crossfunctionally and collaboratively with different stakeholders in marketing, regulatory, health economics and market access, and product
  • Preparing reports and analysis to monitor business success
  • Participate / Lead at medical conferences, trade shows and events to promote brand awareness
  • Ensure the correct installation and implementation of the technology
  • Provide high quality technical and clinical support for clinicians on an ongoing basis
  • Be a trusted partner for clinicians and support codevelopment of advanced products and features between our R&D team and the customer
  • Support clinical and economic research programmes
  • Develop high level relationships with hospital stakeholders, C-Suite, HOD, Clinicians
  • Manage our expanding network of Key Opinion Leaders in greater Iberia territory
  • Expectation is to be with customers on site at least 4 out of 5 days

Your Profile:


  • Technical or scientific background, ideally in Biomedical Engineering or related Medical Technologies
  • 5+ years work experience in a clinical environment
  • 5+ years work experience in sales or customer support functions
  • Fluent in both English and Catalan or Spanish
  • Must demonstrate a high level of motivation, be a selfstarter and comfortable to work relatively autonomously
  • Experience with mixed reality hardware and/or software is a distinct advantage

  • Eligibility for our EU sales commissions scheme.
  • In the first year, there will be no cap on commissions, incentivizing rapid scaling of the business.
