We are one of the fastest growing startups in Europe and the way we want to grow is making every city profitable To reach this goal, we need a 360, analytical and results driven person to take ownership of our Finance & Strategy function in Nigeria.
BE PART OF A TEAM WHERE YOU WILL:
- Be the Regional Africa General Manager's right-hand in any strategic decision (presence in 7 markets).
- Corporate & businesslevel strategy: Work closely with senior executives within the region (General Managers) and across functions such as operations, sales, marketing, business development and finance to set and implement our strategy and drive key business initiatives.
- Strategic knowledge & insights: Develop outstanding insights on our markets, competitors and business trends, and disseminate this knowledge across Glovo Africa to inform key decisions.
- Lead and execute cross functional projects within the region in line with the long term strategy.
- Analyze business performance and measure KPIs, identifying issues and potential improvement opportunities.
- Work closely with Local and Global HQ Teams to solve any daytoday issues and ensure a 100% satisfaction of Africa customers, partners and couriers.
- Report into the Africa Director of Finance & Strategy.
- Actively collaborate with your colleagues and learn from each other in a supportive environment that allows you to grow, develop and make a difference within the organization.
YOU HAVE:
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative / numerical field; MBA preferred.
- 6+ years experience in toptier management consulting or corporate strategy for a fastgrowing global operating tech company.
- Strong analytical abilities, especially with respect to experimental design and analysis.
- Strategic thinking and planning, handson mentality.
- Excellent skills in presenting and analyzing data and creating actionable reports.
- Advanced English.
- Ability to influence stakeholders in order to help achieve your goals.
- An empathetic, inclusive and curious attitude.
