    The Payments Card Tech Lead will architect solutions for software engineering teams, who are responsible for building and managing the card processing, card issuing, real time payment network, SEPA / SWIFT, PLAID and additional pay-in and pay out systems.

    Role Responsibilities

    Set up card processing and card issuing, integrate card processing systems into existing payment rails to enable seamless interfaces across global channels.

    Engineer and develop card processing capabilities to fund transactions via cryptocurrency.

    Engineer real-time payment solutions and expand new pay-in and pay-out channels.

    Collaborate with the Project Manager and other stakeholders to plan and schedule product releases.

    Proactively suggest areas for improvement and enhancement, working with managers and peers.

    Work with industry partners to integrate our systems with other applications or systems.

    Build daily, weekly, and monthly card processing, card issuing, and settlement solutions.

    Troubleshoot integration issues and coordinate issue resolution with operations, functional, and technical teams.

    Role Requirements

    A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related engineering fields, with 5+ years of experience within the payment cards industry (Visa and Mastercard Debit, Credit or Prepaid preferred).

    5+ years of experience in building backend card processing capabilities and launching business-critical customer banking products.

    Knowledge of prepaid card business and how to issue cards to receivers with the ability to offer reloadable cards.

    Experience working with software tools, platforms, and processes required to support development in MuleSoft.

    Experience with Outsystems UI, .NET, SOAP / REST web services, and APIs.

    Knowledge of cloud-base banking platforms, such as Mambu.

    Have good architecture design and scalability problem-solving experience.

    Experience working with card issuer processor platforms like Marqeta, Fiserv, Tsys and network schemes.
