Mission:


  • The Mission of a Data Demand Manager revolves around efficiently and strategically managing the demand for datarelated projects within an organization.

Your responsibilities:


  • Demand Consolidation:_
  • Coordinate and consolidate demand for data projects from different areas of the company.
  • Supervise and manage monthly demand to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Monthly Demand Management Meetings:_
  • Lead monthly demand management meetings, facilitating communication between data, development teams, and stakeholders.
  • Ensure that business requirements are understood and effectively translated into data project initiatives.
  • Report Consolidation:_
  • Coordinate and consolidate reports: progress and performance
  • Analyze reports to identify trends, issues, and improvement opportunities
  • Smart Sheet Implementation:
_

  • Establish and maintain a Smart Sheetbased approach to manage the data project portfolio.
  • Create and maintain a Smart Sheet dashboard to monitor the health and progress of data projects.
  • Barrier Management and Transparency:_
  • Collaborate with teams in Pune and Supply Chain to remove obstacles and ensure smooth execution of data projects.
  • Ensure transparency across all projects, providing visibility to key stakeholders.
  • Business Case Development:_
  • Work closely with business translators to develop robust business cases supporting investment in data projects.
  • Ensure each project has a clear justification and aligns with corporate strategic goals.
  • Management of

Potential Project Queue:
_

  • Maintain an organized queue of potential projects, assessing their feasibility and alignment with corporate goals.
  • Agile Work and

Grooming Sessions:
_

  • Implement agile practices in demand management for efficient project execution.
  • Establish regular grooming sessions to review and refine project requirements and priorities.
  • Availability in

Different Time Zones:
_

  • Demonstrate flexibility in working across different time zones to ensure engagement and effectiveness in global collaboration.

To succeed in this role, you'll need a positive attitude and the following:


  • Previous experience in demand management roles, preferably in data project environments
  • Solid knowledge of project management tools, especially Smart Sheet.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with globally distributed teams.
  • Experience in building business cases and working in an agile environment.
  • High level of English
