Responsibilities:


  • Monitor and analyze political discussions, digital policy and regulatory developments of relevance to Salesforce in the designated countries, with a focus on AI, cloud computing, privacy, security and data.
  • Develop and manage trusted relationships with key stakeholders, including the governments, Parliaments, ministries, local governments and regulators.
  • Work with Salesforce's public policy team, business leaders (and more specifically pubic sector sales team), product experts, legal, marketing and PR teams, to develop public policy positions, advocacy materials, and position papers, in support of AI, cloud computing, enterprise software and Salesforce's core values of trust, customer success, innovation and equality.
  • Represent Salesforce and work with trade associations, think tanks, and industry coalitions to create consensus on relevant policy positions.
  • Prepare briefing materials for Salesforce's engagement with political stakeholders across the region.
  • Support internal activities: reporting of government affairs team's activities, coordination of adhoc projects, organisation and logistics of internal and external events.

Requirements:


  • Masters degree or advanced degree in government, law, political science, European or international studies, or similar.
  • Ability to write and speak fluently in English and one more language of the EU, preferably Italian/Spanish.
  • Good understanding of political environment, digital policy issues, including AI, privacy, security, data.
  • Previous experience in a professional environment, or with the European Institutions or other policy or political institutions (preferably working on technologyrelated topics).
  • Available to travel for work.
  • Willingness to continuously learn about the everevolving technology landscape.
  • Embracing Salesforce's values of trust, customer success, innovation, and equality.

  • Highly motivated selfstarter; resultsoriented, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with the team. Serviceminded, reliable, rigorous.
  • Good political, analytical and communication skills, with high attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with legislations and policy developments on sustainability, equality, skilling and civic engagement.
  • Able to work in a multicultural environment, with people across different departments and organizations and across different time zones.
  • An outgoing, open personality.
