Purpose:

The client portfolio encompasses over 340 properties comprising logistics, distribution, corporate head offices, and small regional multi-use properties.

These client properties are serviced by mobile and static CBRE engineers, as well as supplier personnel, covering a full range of FM services.

CBRE's scope of technical responsibility ranges from repairs and maintenance, asset management, energy management, and building system optimisation, to fabric and roof repairs and maintenance and technical inspections.


Key Activities & Tasks:


  • Setting and ensuring delivery of consistent, reliable, and highquality maintenance and asset management practices across all geographies, considering individual country compliance and regulatory environments.
  • Be a source of technical excellence for all onaccount technical and maintenance team members, liaising closely with the global technical excellence team to ensure alignment with CBRE technical standards.
  • Champion a culture of compliance, quality, and reliability within the account, collaborating with various country organisations to drive this culture, leveraging CBRE and industry best practice in asset management and capital planning.
  • Manage a robust and structured programme of statutory and regulatory compliance, ensuring our services are compliant, and providing transparent and clear insights and reporting to our client
  • Develop and implement, with the support of incountry engineering teams and platform leaders, an Asset Management and Capital Planning programme across the entire portfolio
  • Design and implement a technical training and development programme for our Technicians, Engineers, and Technical Managers ensuring the develop their skills, experience, and effectiveness.
  • Working together with our CMMS Analysts, develop an account wide planned and preventative maintenance programme, incorporating a range of maintenance techniques including preventative, predictive, and reactive processes.
  • Develop and implement a technical safety programme across all sites, ensuring that works are planned and executed safely and in line with legislative requirements and CBRE best practice.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation in technical maintenance by leveraging industry and CBRE best practice, our Technical Excellence products and processes, and on account nocost / lowcost solutions.
  • Act as custodian of the client's asset data, driving consistency, standardisation, and completeness to ensure we hold an accurate picture of the client's portfolio at all times.
  • Be highly organised and efficient
  • Collaborate and engage with other workstreams, clients, platform colleagues, and the account leadership team
  • Be quality driven with a passion for continuous improvement and innovation in technical maintenance and asset management
  • Possess a high degree of technical competence, preferably holding or actively working towards Chartered Engineer status with a relevant and recognised technical industry body
  • Be comfortable and confident designing and implementing new processes and procedures
  • Be competent in creating order in an ambiguous and fastmoving environment whilst demonstrating positive leadership characteristics
  • Develop their team, taking an authentic interest in their development and career progression
  • Attract talent to the account, ensuring a high level of technical and operational competency in all key technical roles
  • Be a champion for technical compliance requirements, educating and informing key stakeholders on their responsibilities and obligations
