Regulatory & Service Design Data Analyst*:
Madrid | working from home up to 60% | Reference 5432

BME is the infrastructure of all the securities markets and financial systems in Spain and is owned by SIX. REGIS-TR is the largest European trade repository (TR) for EMIR, and offers services covering SFTR and FinfraG.

In this position, you will work closely with various internal and external stakeholders in a motivated and dynamic environment, in which we are responsible for offering TR reporting services, covering all the major European reporting obligations.


What You Will Do:

- analyse and interpret data to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- develop and implement data collection and analysis procedures
- design processes and data flows
- identify and communicate areas of non-compliance
- collaborate with other departments to develop solutions to compliance issues
- stay up-to-date on regulatory changes and update procedures accordingly


What You Bring:

- bachelor's and/or master's degree in a related field, such as Data Science, Statistics, Business Administration or any Regulatory Compliance studies
- a minimum of 2 years of experience in data analysis. Some experience in a regulatory compliance environment will be highly valued too
- strong analytical skills with experience in statistical analysis. Technical knowledge of Excel, Databases, Access, SQL and Macros will be a plus
- excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards. Knowledge of Securities, Foreign Exchange, Money Markets and Derivatives will be highly valued
- advanced level of English, written and spoken, to work in an international environment
