Your mission


The Head of QEHS Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of quality control, environmental compliance, and health and safety programs within the organization.

They play a crucial role in ensuring that the organization meets regulatory requirements, maintains high-quality standards, and creates a safe and environmentally responsible workplace.

The position is based in Spain or UK or in another country of European Union. It will be necessary to travel to our EMEA headquarter to Muich / Germany on a regular basis.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Quality Management (main task): Develop and implement quality control and assurance strategies.
Establish and maintain quality standards and procedures.
Manage customer escalation, and lead quality audits and inspections.

  • Environmental Management: Ensure compliance with environmental laws and regulations.
  • Health and Safety Management /

Occupational Safety:
Establish and enforce workplace health and safety policies.
Conduct risk assessments and develop safety procedures.
Lead safety training programs for employees.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and implement corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay current with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Ensure the organization's compliance with all applicable QEHS requirements.

  • Team Management: Supervise and lead a team of QEHS professionals and procurement professionals.
Foster a culture of quality, environmental responsibility, and safety within the organization.


Stakeholder Engagement:
Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to promote QEHS initiatives.
Act as a liaison with regulatory agencies and auditors.

Profile:

All right, all right, so I hope you are now aware of what is up for you, what background should you have in order to feel comfortable with this role? Keep in mind it\'s all about electrical equipment, that\'s why it is essential for you to have:

  • University degree in an engineering or other technical discipline or simular.
  • Several years of working experience in a similar role, ideally within a manufacturing/construction/renewables energy environment or electronics industry is a must have.
  • Knowledge of QHSE (Health & Safety) legislation from Europe and good practice is essential with a formal Quality qualification desirable. Health and Safety is a plus.
  • Extensive experience in QEHS management, including leadership roles.
  • Renewable energy work experience is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and standards for EU.
  • Excellent communication, leadership skills, and the ability to effectively manage stress in a demanding work environment.
  • Fluent English language skills (C1) mandatory. Good German, Spanish or Chinese language skills are an advantage.
