This position is for our office in sunny Barcelona, Spain.

Your Mission
Your role as our Head of Tech is an essential part of our strategy.

We are a company with innovation at heart and while moving very quickly things at the office can often get chaotic.

We are looking for a Tech lead to help the company to lead and recruit the entire IT department, a profile with knowledge in both backend and frontend.

Right now we do not develop in React, React Native, etc. but it is possible that we will switch from Vue to React, so having knowledge can be a plus.

Job requirements

_ Must have_

Advanced knowledge of PHP (v. >=7) and Javascript.
3 years or more experience working with Laravel.
3 years or more experience working with
Experience developing: websites, Apps, Web apps.
Experience leading teams of about 1020 developers.

_ Nice to have_

DevOps
REST API's development
SQL
Strong knowledge of GIT (experience with git flow, rebase, merge, conflict resolution).
Dependency management with Composer.
Tendency to leverage the best of new technologies and be very aware of where technology is moving.
Experience with Amazon AWS since all the technical infrastructure is there.
Agile, scrum, kanban... methodologies...
Successful experiences launching complex projects.
