Equifax is looking for a Pricing Analyst who will be responsible for the design and evolution of sophisticated commercial analytics, and the identity and integration of key metrics into the Equifax UK pricing strategy.

The role, part of the Pricing team, is broad and stimulating.

What you'll do:


  • Provide commercial modeling expertise to immediate colleagues and clientfacing teams.
  • Lead the relationship with key stakeholders for alignment on pricing and commercial governance principles.
  • Design and evolve a P&L analytics capability for all dealspecific and list prices.
  • Work with operational, sales, product and finance colleagues to understand and monitor product cost economics, customer need/usage trends and delivery models. Integrate insights into pricing tools and evaluate and recommend change scenarios.
  • Design and evolve price setting and deal margin profitability "test environment" capability, that facilitates the modeling of commercial scenarios to maximise profit for Equifax and our clients.
  • Evolve price trend / benchmark intelligence capability, targeted at key decision makers.
  • Accuracy and utility of timely commercial pricing models and rate cards.
  • Gathering, interpretation, summarising, utilisation and propagation of market intelligence of competing propositions / pricing.
  • Propagation of pricing rate cards etcetera to Sales and Product teams.
  • Knowledge and educating other team members of the impact of financial and regulatory policies.

What experience you need:


  • Very high level of Englis
  • Graduate (2:1 or First) currently acting as a senior analyst for three years or more, seeking to move into a more commercial/client orientated role.
  • Proven stakeholder management experience.
  • Demonstrable commercial acumen track record.
  • Strong LinkedIn recommendations from previous line managers and/or directors.
  • Proven ability to set targets and deliver against them.
  • Able to demonstrate, live, the ability to reduce complex commercial data to insights, options and compelling recommendations.
