    The main goal of ADI's CSS team is to be a leader in specific technology areas by providing unique sensing and signal processing solutions. Currently, these areas include Capacitive Sensing, Optical Image Stabilization, and Audio technologies that are crucial for our consumer business growth. As our business expands globally, we are looking to fill key positions in defining, developing, and validating digital systems for this significant market segment. This role covers the entire development process, from concept to product release, offering the chance to collaborate with various ADI business units and explore diverse technologies and products.

    Responsibilities

    Located in Spain (Valencia), this role will involve:

  • Verifying complex designs and sub-systems using advanced verification methods.
  • Contributing to decisions on verification methodologies/strategies. Strong expertise in test-plan creation, coverage analysis, transaction-level modeling, and various verification techniques with System Verilog.
  • Designing the testbench and implementing UVM or Formal based verification approaches.
  • Creating unit and SoC level test benches with UVM. Integrating block testbenches into chip-level UVM environments and ensuring successful verification.
  • Defining test-plans, tests, and verification methodologies for block/chip-level verification. Collaborating with the design team on test-plan generation and coverage closure.
  • Debugging Gate Level Simulations (GLS) and managing Timing Violations with designer approval.
  • Collaborating closely with analog co-sim and firmware teams.
  • Developing scripts in TCL/Perl/Python for various verification tasks.
  • Writing C tests for M3 Series Cortex based products.
  • Providing technical mentorship and guidance to junior verification engineers in SoC Verification.
  • Supporting post-silicon verification activities by working with design, product evaluation, and applications engineering teams.

    • Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Engineering (Electronic Engineering) or similar field.
  • Strong debugging and analytical skills.
  • 10-15 years of experience in ASIC design verification.

    • Additional Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with HW emulation or FPGA prototyping.
  • Leading small verification teams. Must have excellent interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills. Self-motivated, enthusiastic, with proficient English communication skills.
