About the role


The Data and Tools Manager, Digital Operations Finance is responsible for designing and implementing the digitalization road map for the Operations Finance Function.

This road map includes innovative Planning solutions based on Business Intelligence analytics for performance management and reporting and the use of Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning,

The Data and Tools Manager for Digital Finance will have a deep knowledge on Digital tools & processes, particularly around Busienss Intelligence architecture and Visualization tools (QlikSense, PowerBI).

Some experience with AI/ML tools is preferrable.

The incumbent is passionate about streamlining processes through technology and collaborates effectively with DD&IT and Data Science teams for creating best-in-class digital solutions for the most significant business challenges in our function.


You will understand emerging digital technologies and can filter through the noise for delivering solutions that are fit-for-purpose, while being both innovative and pragmatic.

The Senior BPA Digital Operations Finance develops her/his associates and maintains a high-performing team.

  • Design, drive and deliver innovative business intelligence, leveraging technology and advanced visualization tools that support process simplification, faster and more robust decision making and improves them continuously
  • Plans, leads and organizes program team resources across multiple locations, and thirdparty providers, while maintaining control of progress, quality and budget aligned with commitments, preferably through AGILE methodologies.
  • Ensures delivery excellence across multiple projects of high priority, complexity and business impact providing a consistent, scalable, and robust business solution
  • Fosters adoption of new digital tools, by creating credibility for the tools across the organization by ensuring accuracy, quality and integrity of data and information, while providing consistency in content and deployment standards
  • Supports the personal development of her/his associates in the team with the objective to maintain a highperforming, best in class team.

Role Requirements

  • 7+ years' experience relevant for the role in a multinational company with exposure at global/corporate and ideally also at country or region level.
  • Prior experience in the business intelligence & analytics landscape with crossfunctional view covering IT, finance & business,
  • Effective project manager, with experience in AGILE methodology. Can succeed in high complexity/matrix organizational environments.
  • Overall business/finance acumen; pharmaceutical industry experience is a plus, but not a prerequisite.
  • Technical proficiency in these areas:
  • Planning & performance management and analytics tools (QlikSense or PowerBI)
  • JIRA software for project management
  • Ability to train, develop and motivate associates to create highperforming teams.
