    Humber River Hospital, one of Canada's largest acute care hospitals, is fully digital and serves a diverse catchment area of over 850,000 people in the northwest Greater Toronto Area.

    With 722 acute inpatient beds, approximately 3,400 staff, around 700 physicians, and over 1,000 volunteers, Humber River Hospital provides comprehensive care to its patients.

    As an associate member of TAHSN, HRH offers academic opportunities to all professions, including a Family Practice Teaching Unit partnership with the University of Toronto within the year.

    New Career Opportunity

    We are seeking a Neurologist:

    You will utilize your clinical skills to diagnose and treat a wide range of patients with neurological diseases at Humber River Hospital.

    The hospital's affiliation with the University of Toronto and Queen's University provides opportunities to collaborate with residents, fellows, and medical students, while contributing to innovative clinical research projects.

    The successful candidate will be expected to:

    • Provide outpatient and inpatient consultations for patients with neurological conditions.
    • Diagnose, treat, and manage patients with complex neurological conditions.
    • Perform diagnostic procedures such as lumbar punctures, EEGs, EMGs, and nerve conduction studies (NCS).
    • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
    • Participate in on-call rotations for neurological emergencies.

    In addition to demonstrated leadership skills and clinical excellence, you require relevant certification from the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada and membership with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Ontario.
