ALGAKTIV are biotechnology and microalgae specialists headquartered in Barcelona, Spain, working with skincare brands to create unique formulations using high performance active ingredients.

As a growing organisation, we are looking for a new member of
Sales & Marketing Team to support our distribution network and grow our customer base in the Skin Care Active Ingredients market.

Responsibilities

• You will be assisting the commercial team in their sales and promotional efforts, including preparing technical presentations and reports, as well as answer customer queries.
• Sales presentations and new product marketing activities at customer sites and trade fairs will be part of your responsibilities.
• You will be required to research and understand category landscapes and market trends and report on forces that shift strategic direction and decision making.
• You will be travelling internationally to exciting places.
• You will be given training and development within sales, product development and leadership to enable you to continuously grow in our organisation.

Qualifications

• You have a life sciences degree (or are graduating in 2023) and understand technical products.
• You have an interest in sales and an understanding of marketing. You love telling great stories
• You are a creative person and have a customer service mindset.
• You are interested in learning about the personal care industry and contributing to the development of new, exciting skin care brands for our customers.
• You enjoy travelling and exploring diverse cultures, as well as building partnerships with people around the world.
• You are open to learning and coaching to develop your commercial, communication and customer engagement skills further.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as are fluent English skills. Proficiency in other languages a plus.
• You are able to operate independently and as a collaborative, flexible team member in a dynamic work environment.
