    The Hospitality Controller will oversee all accounting and financial reporting for a portfolio of hospitality clients, including hotel operators, restaurant groups, and management companies.

    This role involves managing financial statements, consolidations, and month-end closes with precision.

    It also requires ensuring compliance with GAAP and industry best practices, including revenue recognition, cost controls, and cash flow management.

    The Hospitality Controller will develop and improve financial processes, internal controls, and reporting structures.

    They will work closely with clients, providing CFO-level insights and strategic financial guidance.

    This role involves collaborating with our internal team of accountants and bookkeepers to maintain clean books and clear financials.

    The Hospitality Controller will handle lender and investor reporting, debt covenants, and financial modeling.

    They will also support tax teams with hospitality-specific filings and compliance needs.

    This role involves assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and cost management for hospitality businesses.

    Requirements

    • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience
    • 3+ years in hospitality (hotels, restaurants, or management companies preferred)
    • Strong understanding of hospitality accounting principles
    • Experience with QuickBooks, M3, Sage Intacct, or similar hospitality accounting software
    • CPA or CMA preferred but not required
    • Able to lead, problem-solve, and communicate effectively
