Explore Africa Travel, specialist in adventure travel in Namibia and Botswana


Explore Africa Travel was founded out of enthusiasm for adventure travel in Namibia, one of the most beautiful countries in southern Africa Founded in 2006 with its head office in Windhoek (Namibia), Explore Namibia has grown together with Explore Botswana into one of the largest, and certainly one of the best specialists in the field of individually organized 4x4 self-drive tours and guided safaris in Namibia and Botswana.


We market our travel services by the following brands: Explore Namibia, Explore Botswana, Explore Malawi, Meine Namibia Safaris and Discover Tanzania.


With our team, we have drawn up ambitious growth plans for the coming years, looking at opening several offices in Europe, as well as introducing several new African destinations in the near future.

In order to serve our clients well, we also recently opened an office in Spain (Explora Africa S.L.)
and thus, for the location of Málaga, we are looking for a motivated and positive minded:


Travel Specialist / Tour Consultant - Namibia & Botswana


Employees at Explore Africa Travel have a passion for travel and adventure, and in particular for the beautiful safari countries in Africa (Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, etc.).


In consultation with our clients, we put together a personally tailored 'dream safari', which is often described as one of the best trips of their lives.

These can be trips where you stay overnight in luxury lodges, or you can go camping and sleep in roof tents on top of the fully equipped 4x4.

In Málaga, you will work together with internationals colleagues.

In addition, you will have frequent contact with the various locations and work closely with the head office in Namibia, which you will also visit from time to time.

After all, you will also have to get to know travel destinations like Namibia and Botswana well, so that you can advise our travelers optimally and from your own experience.

The job in a nutshell_

  • Creating personalized tailormade travel proposals, quotations and price calculations for interested customers and discussing these with them.
  • Administrative processing of trips
  • Daily contact with head office in Namibia (Englishspeaking)
  • Supporting marketing activities and Social Media, etc.
  • Helping out at various (international) travel fairs

What are we looking for?_

  • Enthusiastic, cheerful and driven personality
  • Being able to speak a variety of different languages, at least Spanish and English, but preferably also another language such as German, French, Italian or Dutch, both verbally and in writing
  • Adventure travel experience (outside Europe and preferably in Africa)
  • Affinity with or knowledge of Namibia and/or Botswana is a plus
  • Experience with the travel industry preferred
  • Flexible and hardworking, no 9 to 5 mentality
  • Has excellent commercial and communication skills, is customerfriendly, proactive and can work both independently and as part of a team
  • Good planning and organizational skills
  • Eye for detail and problemsolving
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, computer literate
  • You would like to travel to Africa and you would be willing to work temporary at the head office in Windhoek.
