The opportunity:


  • This role is hybrid and can be based in Spain, Italy, Portugal or Switzerland _
Nutanix is looking for a General Manager for Southern Europe.

In this role, you are responsible for leading a team of Account Managers, selling Nutanix's Products and Solutions through Channel Partners, and interacting directly with Commercial and Enterprise customers.

You will also work closely with the regional functional leadership team.

Sales at Nutanix

Our sales team at Nutanix has a keen ability to develop new accounts and penetrate new divisions and organizations within your assigned accounts.

Nutanix provides unrivaled support and tools from the Engineering, Marketing, and Product Development departments for you to leverage to exceed sales performance goals.

In this position, you will have a large amount of influence on sales team decisions and initiatives and report directly to our **SVP of Sales EMEA,

Your Role

  • To demonstrate Nutanix's values of Hunger, Honesty and Humility. To live the principles and be a role model leading as part of a united management team, collaborating, creating a positive environment that is recognised in high employee experience scores.
  • To achieve quarterly revenue goals, including alignment to Nutanix's overall QoQ / YoY aspirations and delivering monthly linearity metrics of 20%, 40% and 60%
  • To maintain an up to date Strategy, Business & Marketing Plan that forms the basis of QBR reviews and to ensure that each of the Sales Directors and Account Managers have a similar approach.
  • To be highly active in the market with Customers at the Executive level
  • To lead top deal reviews, management of the sales process, creativity in deal progression, financial structuring, challenger selling and ensure personal involvement with key clients. Utilise and lead MEDDPICC adoption.
  • To continuously educate oneself to upskill, learn about leadership and ensure industry and competitive knowledge.

What You'll Bring

  • Previous Sales Leadership of 40+ people and General Management (or similar); experience of managing Cross-Functional teams (eg: Channel, Marketing, Services, Operations, HR, Finance) of 200+
  • 5+ Years in Software or Cloud Sales Leadership positions, including SaaS / Subscription
  • 5+ Years in Sales Management
  • Sales Leadership experience across South-Europe
  • Educated to Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

Meet Sammy Zoghlami, SVP of Sales EMEA
Sammy has called Nutanix home for nearly a decade. Known as a Nutanix "Veteran," Sammy has been with the company through much of its rapid growth.

He joined as a Regional Sales Manager in 2013 and climbed the ranks to become our SVP of Sales, leading the entire EMEA organization.

During his time at the company, Sammy has watched the Nutanix culture evolve. Despite this evolution, he feels our core values of "Hungry, Humble, and Honest with Heart" are consistently at work.

In particular, Sammy spoke a lot about the core value, "Humble." He feels that a strength of Nutanix is that people don't act like they know everything here.
