THE GIG


We are looking for a experienced and dedicated Regional Construction Project Manager with effective and respected experience across the EMEA region.

You enjoy the fast-paced nature of retail and you love working with and between others.

You will need to have comprehensive experience and a proven track record in building branded retail stores across EMEA for highly respected global brands.

You will also need to work effectively and efficiently, working closely with fellow department leads, property managers, project managers, contractors, planners, suppliers etc, implementing global branded retail development design guidelines.

You will need to define yourself as a natural professional managing a team, well-organized, able to manage and oversee multiple projects and budgets plus also communicate effectively and holistically across all project management fields.

You are a passionate professional with diverse skills, with strong impeccable experience in implementing Retail Design Guidelines and Project Management.

You get the Dr. Martens brand and are excited to support the team in enhancing Dr. Martens' footprint in the EMEA region.

This role can be based in France, Italy or Spain and will involve extensive travel.


THE STUFF THAT SETS YOU APART
Put simply, for this role the key things we're looking for are:

  • Knowledgeable in all aspects of Branded Retail construction and a key player in implementing and delivering in the field previously approved store design guidelines in conjunction with managing tight deadlines and budgets.
  • In addition to your Project Management skills a key requisite is additional experience in Facilities Management and either Building Surveying, Cost Management or HVAC design.
  • Evaluate the project needs and subsequently manage to ensure project timeline and budgets are met.
  • Manage the relationship with external contractors and consultants.
  • You will always look to improve on processes and timelines, and communication skills will always be essential.
  • Ability to develop build and maintain strong working relationships with 3rd parties including Property Agents, Lawyers, Surveyors, Contractors, Planners, Landlords and internal key stakeholders.
  • A key communicator and collaborator with internal and external management and project sponsors.
  • Personnel management experience including team development, appraisals and performance management (conflict and disciplinary issues).
  • Selfdriven, able to work in the field and always motivated, plus has the ability to influence at all levels and deliver on promises and budget.
  • Leads by example with passion, enthusiasm and integrity.
  • Partnering with the Head of Retail and Wholesale, you'll plan and execute and coordinated delivery to store openings, SIS within EMEA.
  • Utilizing your years of experience and business knowhow, you'll work to develop, implement, and execute store opening processes and procedures

  • Business acumen including financial analysis and reporting.
  • Selfdriven, results oriented with clear focus on service to stores.
  • Availability to business travel
