THE OPPORTUNITY
Our Assisted and Automated Driving Development team in Spain, that develops various software modules and new technologies to enhance the driving experience whilst working towards the goal of autonomous driving, is currently seeking a:

AAD PERCEPTION ENGINEER - INTERIOR SENSING (M/F/d)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Actively develop and write code for new functions and features which will be applied in prototypes and in series cars.
  • Clear software architecture and solid software design as well as good software quality will be the basis of your daily work.
  • Your work will be based on system requirements which will be transferred into software requirements, followed by the design and implementation of your code.
  • Definition of KPIs and follow their evolution during the development process.
  • Test of the implementation on simulations, the hardware and in the targeted product/ prototype vehicles. This also includes regular test drives for you as a developer in order to get the real customer feeling in our highquality products.
  • You will be one of the first to experience the latest ADAS and autonomous driving systems firsthand.
  • Development aiming for prototype and series production, including autonomous driving capabilities.

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • University Degree (Master or PhD) in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or similar.
  • Minimum 35 years of experience with active developing of software in the area of interior sensing.
  • Extensive knowledge in automotive sensors with at least camera and radar.
  • Extensive knowledge in fusion and tracking.
  • Deep knowledge in C / C++ and Matlab.
  • Test driven development experience.
  • SCRUM/ Agile experience.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • A resilient and enthusiastic who responds constructively to new ideas and inputs.
  • An individual with the ability to prioritize their workload.
  • A good communicator with the ability to communicate complex ideas.
  • An effective team player who supports team members.
  • The role needs an individual who is highly creative and can think laterally.
