Scope of the job:

a brief description of your role as a general- Support the standardization and optimization of the design process across the different HW development teams and product lines.

Support the continuous improvement activities on the HW domain process.- Define and maintain the workflow and process for Electronic HW design and validation, including the design verification checklists and tools.- Identify improvement areas for HW design process and interaction with other domains (in terms of new tools, change of process or reuse opportunities)
Your Role & Responsibilities- Define and maintain a HW design and validation process compliant with A-SPICE specification.


  • Align the HW process with the other domain's (MEC, SW, SYS, FuSa) processes to ensure a consistent product development workflow.
  • Definition of workflows and processes for ALM, PLM/PDM and /or ERP environments.
  • Define and maintain the design verification checklists, considering the lessons learned or new applicable standards.
  • Creation and maintenance of design support tools to improve efficiency on repetitive design or justification tasks (Excel macro sheets, phyton scripts, Altium scripts,).
  • Creation and maintenance of a 'database' for design data reuse (design files or justification sources and documents).
  • Creation of training materials (howto's) for process standardization and team training.
  • Maintenance and standarization of design templates and 'style best practices'.
  • Investigation of new systems, strategies and tools for productivity improvement.
    Your Skills & Strengths
  • Degree in Physics / Electronics / Telecommunication Engineering or similar.
  • English (B2).
  • Spanish (C1).
  • German will be a plus.
- (Critical) Technical background in electronic design (automotive preferred).
- (required) Technical proficiency in the use of electronic design (SCH/PCB) suites (Altium preferred).
- (required) Technical background in electronic design validation (functional, electrical, EMC).
- (required) Knowledge of electronic analysis and simulation tools (SPICE, PSIM, Mathcad, MATLAB).
- (required) Knowledge of standard electronic design analysis and verification (Derating analysis, WCA, Reliability calculation, FMEDA).
- (required) Advanced Excel knowledge (macros, external data sources).
- (Valued) Knowledge of functional safety (ISO26262) is a plus.
- (required) Knowledge of Automotive SPICE processes, and V model development processes.
- (required) Experience in the definition and maintenance of HW process.
- (required) Experience on HW development on the whole electronic design lifecycle (automotive sector a plus).
- (Valued) Experience with ERP and/or PDM/PLM software (SAP, PTC Windchill, Teamcenter ).
- (Valued) Experience with ALM platforms (Polarion or Windchill RV&S).
