As the Finance Controller for SL LLP you'll be responsible for controlling activity, P&L analysis, budgeting and forecasting.

You'll also take ownership of the O2D process across 26 countries globally and provide financial leadership to ensure information is presented in a way to maximise financial awareness, optimise decision-making and improve the overall efficiency of spend.

You'll be supporting business partners by providing timely and accurate financial information whilst focussing on system and process development. Sound interesting? Keep reading

The key responsibilities in this role include:

  • Managing and consolidating P&L in various geographies
  • Executing accurate reporting that enables analysis and financial recommendations (FP&A)
  • Preparing budget & forecast cycles including planning to achieve deadlines globally
  • Managing & supervising closing activities
  • Supporting on BRM cycles
  • Ad-Hoc reporting and analysis to facilitate business decision making
  • Being proactive in identifying, prioritising and addressing opportunities to standardise and reduce the number of manual inputs across all customers.
  • Supporting the order to cash process across SL LLP, including being accountable for final cash and DSO target delivery on behalf of DHL
  • Overseeing and coordinating customer rate card processes (including annual CPI preparation, managing change requests and update IT volumes and any other rate card changes
  • End to end PTP process (PO details, Invoice, Payments etc).
  • Acting as second escalation point alongside the customer account manager for the credit and collection function to resolve any cash flow and DSO items with customers.
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements
  • Focussing on system and process development
  • Onboarding new accounts and activities and providing audit support

  • Strong analytical skills and proven ability to process large/complex data sets.
  • Experience working with analytics tools (i.e. PowerBI, advanced Excel etc)
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate and work with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to deal with complex issues in a fast changing environment
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment and with individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work in a global business environment
