Role Purpose
This role will create and drive all Value Creation initiatives within Customer Transport solution, with the objective to unlock value for the customer and the company.
Accountabilities
Drive tangible results through successful identification, coordination, and implementation of Value Creation opportunities within the customer's distribution network and related processes.
Hands-on approach to working with our customer and leverage relationship-building skills to become a trusted advisor for the customer and discover value.
Understand the customer's Supply Chain operational detail and key elements to be able to identify potential improvements and optimization initiatives.
Support the Head of Account in presenting these potential opportunities to the customer.
Prepare and deliver proposals for the customer in a consultancy selling environment.
Work with broader solutions design teams within LLP Europe on the approach, tools, knowledge sharing and joint project work.
Manage projects in own work stream in order to develop the best solution for both the customer and DHL within time and budget.
Requirements:
Degree in/focus on Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration and/or Mathematics - desirable.
5 years varied experience in a logistics, Continuous Improvement or solution design role. Experience with Global supply chains
English Good written and spoken English is essential.
Proved Customer facing experience.
Project management & facilitation skills (workshops, due diligence, voice of the customer).
Requires strong communication and presentation skills.
Identify, gather & analyses information to understand customer needs, key data & drivers for solution design/integrated logistics design.
Able to demonstrate successfully implemented solutions.
Ability to demonstrate analytical and logical thinking; translating many different real life situations into models that allow for scenario comparisons; data manipulation skills are essential to this role.
Ability to assess the full financial and operational impact of improvement projects changes within the customer's supply chain and wider business.
