Lead and coach team members in all aspects of their role
Work in partnership with Product Owners and other Engineering leaders to shape the product and engineering roadmaps
Deliver value by driving alignment on the team and developing creative solutions to customer problems

Assess risks, manage conflicts, and deal with setbacks positively and proactively

What you'll bring to the team:

Must Have

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent work experience
Demonstrated ability to lead, align, motivate, and coach a high performing engineering team in a player/coach role (5+ years development experience, 2+ years leadership experience)
A customer centric focus and passion for engineering
A drive to help continuously improve processes and frameworks both on the team as well as in the engineering organization
The ability to lead and facilitate collaboration through a remote first approach
A winwin approach to problem solving
Driven by curiosity and the need to learn and continuing to develop
You enjoy a good challenge: you are not afraid to make mistakes and quickly learn from them
You aren't tied to the status quo and strive to achieve new design standards
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Verbal English skills (we work in English)

Nice to have/opportunity to learn (depending on the team):

Experience in developing public websites with Next.

Js.

Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, or another clientside programming language.
Proficiency in React, ideally in server side rendering and React Server Components.
Experience in GraphQL
Proficiency in Core Web Vitals, page performance and technical SEO
Experience in Cloudflare workers
Experience in Web Analytics (Google Analytics, Full Story and others)
Experience in Web A/B Testing
Experience in Headless CMS like Contentful
Experience providing team leadership on software projects.
Experience leading Agilebased development cycles and processes.
Experience in backend development. Even better if it is with Ruby / Ruby on Rails.
