As CommEx Business Partner in Barcelona, you will be reporting to the Commercial Excellence Director and have the responsibility to work within the business to identify the needs and challenges of the Biodermatology business unit.

You will do this by delivering and translating robust analytics into actionable insights and communicating recommendations to inform the business unit with the most critical business questions and decisions.


The scope of role includes all analytical activities at national and subnational level: sales performance reporting, sales force effectiveness, primary market research, multichannel analytics, forecasting, scenario planning and KPI tracking.

- actively to understand the business requirements. Working in close collaboration with the business management and cross functional teams to provide insights and clarity to inform and influence commercial direction. The role requires more than just data transfer. It is about translating the data into meaningful, actionable recommendations to business challenges.


Your role

  • Proactively provide analytical expertise and therapy area insights to identify business critical issues and challenges as well as be responsible and accountable for the development and implementation of Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE) to achieve key business objectives across identified brands in the Biodermatology Business Unit.
  • To deliver clear business insights, reporting and analysis of data at the agreed frequency for business decisions, and business planning
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting, monitoring and analysis of all national and sub national sales data, in line with key performance indicators.
  • Development and delivery of strategic recommendations on brand strategy and business intelligence plans. Review and prepare competitive / market intelligence and analytics to support business area.
  • Lead on primary market research projects ensuring adherence to timeline
  • Active participation in the sales forecasting of the BU, providing support in the preparation of the Business Review presentations
  • Local data management (IQVIA, Internal Sales).
  • Working as a super user of the BI systems both global and local to support other users within the business. Management and governance of the data cube and dashboards to include Identification and prioritization of change requests to the BI system
  • Provide internal consulting: set up business cases for important business decisions requiring several insights.
  • Support marketing and prepare presentations and carry out in marketing and sales meetings if needed.
  • Drive Sales Force Effectiveness analytics and reporting to support achievement of sales strategy:
  • Activity planning and monitoring
  • Bonus schemes, Objectives & incentives
  • Efficient territory deployment: Support and drive key programs and projects to include Territory Design, SF sizing and Territory Alignment
  • Segmentation & Targeting
  • Lead on omnichannel KPIs analytics and monitoring to support the achievement of specific omnichannel objectives and insights
  • Forge and maintain strong working relationship with above country CommEx team to provide best practice and identify areas of extended opportunity.
  • Partner with the finance and business management teams to ensure sales forecasting is delivered in line with financial calendars and timelines. Identify and propose strategies to fill missing data points to further strengthen brand forecasting

Your qualifications

  • To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have the following qualifications:
  • Business/science degree, or relevant Business Insights qualification and or experience.
