Digital Health R&D's ambition is to transform healthcare, powered by digital, science and collaborations,
to deliver the healthcare outcomes and experience that patients care about the most.

As part of the Stage 3 reimagining healthcare portfolio, the Digital Health product manager, in collaboration with stakeholder of al levels, will set and drive the strategy and vision of priority Digital Health Oncology products.


The Digital Health Senior Product Director reports to the Digital Product Delivery Lead and leads a team for a medium to large-scale product in Oncology.

In this role, the PM is a core member of the Digital Product Delivery Leader's team laying out a product vision that is differentiated and delivers unique value based on customer demands.

The role will use the PM's intimate knowledge of digital health patient centric product delivery and spans many areas of expertise from creative, innovative, strategic to tactical and provides important cross-functional leadership while exhibiting negotiation and influencing skills at all levels.


What you will do:


  • Under the direction of the Digital Product Delivery Lead, setting and driving the vision and strategy and clearly articulating the business value to the product team (and supporting Product Managers), so they understand the intent behind the new product or feature. The product manager owns the roadmap and must prioritize building what matters most to achieve the strategic goals and initiatives.
  • Direct any Product Managers assigned to the product so that they have clear accountabilities for delivery within the team.
  • Owning the creative AGILE process of generating, developing, and curating new ideas. To this end, they also ensure that feedback and requests are seamlessly integrated into their product planning and development processes.
  • Identify and manage required partnerships to ensure cuttingedge capabilities in the intersection of data science, technology and healthcare.
  • Close partnership with design team leadership to ensure product is customer centric while meeting the value and vision of the business case.
  • Lead crossfunctional teams from conception all the way through to launch for each of the phases and elements of the product ensuring coordination between design, engineering, quality management systems and data teams so that the final product meets all clinical and engagement goals.
  • Champion, for digital health and an agile, iterative development process driven by design thinking, frequent enduser input, constant insight generation from data.
  • Managing dependencies in and across releases to complete release phases and milestones.
  • As a core member of the Product Managers Guild ensure that the new ways of working being developed are fully aligned to the strategic vision for Digital Health R&D and reducing potential for product overlap/silos.

Essential Requirements:


  • Thrives in a fastpaced work environment, comfortable with complexity and uncertainty at times, dedication to deliver outcomes and motivated by the opportunity to rethink our approach to healthcare.
  • Life Sciences degree or equivalent experience
  • Background in leading Agile teams, product backlog prioritisation, progress reporting, budgeting while delivering a product.
  • Comfort and skills operating in a heavily matrixed organizations with excellent skills and intuition to manage the needs of various stakeholders.
  • Ability to rapidly grasp concepts and excellent ability to handle complexity by simplifying it and providing clear directions to the team.
  • Relevant experience in pharmaceutical industry with strong knowledge of Drug Development Processes and the different sources of information that will support, inform and assist in Trial Design and delivery
