The IT department at our client is responsible for providing centrally managed services to the companies within the group. The most important are Microsoft 365, client management, networks, cybersecurity services and business intelligence.

In addition, we help companies with a large number of tailored services like server hosting, integration services, generative AI, print, etc.

We currently manage more than 5000 user accounts, a growing number as we continue to integrate companies into our IT infrastructure.

The IT Department is genuinely decentralised, consisting of 55 people on several sites throughout Europe.

The role
As a Infrastructure Architect, you will be a part of the IT Project office and be involved in various IT projects in cooperation with our companies, project managers, and other technical staff and teams within our IT department. An important part of the role is to have ownership and responsibility for how projects are solved from a technical perspective.
Your primary duties and responsibilities will include:
Gaining an understanding of current processes and infrastructure and how IT systems are used and managed
Identifying requirements and defining an approach for how to implement them
Securing and implementing technical solutions chosen in projects
Supporting the project manager in planning projects and improving work processes
Supporting the Project Tech Lead
Be a point of escalation and support for other project members
Communicating with our companies, colleagues, users and partners about technical requirements and solutions
Documenting the technical solution

Requisitos mínimos

A university degree in a relevant field is an advantage but not a prerequisite.
Good spoken and written English is essential. The ability to communicate in additional European languages is an advantage.
You need to be willing to travel within Europe depending on demand.
