    We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Risk Analyst to join our team in Madrid or Lisbon. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a dynamic and innovative company that is leading the energy transition.

    Job Description

    The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, quantifying, mitigating, and monitoring financial risks impacting the EDP Group across all its geographies and businesses. Key responsibilities will include:

    • Risk Analysis: Conduct comprehensive risk analysis to identify potential financial risks and their impact on the business.
    • Liquidity Risk Management: Develop and implement strategies to mitigate liquidity risk, including the development of a stochastic model to assist in this process.
    • Investment Analysis: Analyze potential new investments from a risk-return perspective, including stressed scenario analysis for discussion in Investment Committees.
    • Reporting and Communication: Prepare executive reports on key risk exposures for Top Management and ensure effective communication with stakeholders.

    Required Skills and Qualifications

    To be successful in this role, you will need:

    • Academic Background: Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance, Business Management, or related field.
    • Professional Experience: 0-3 years combined experience in risk management, energy industry, banking, management consulting, and/or overall quantitative modeling or statistical analysis.
    • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and knowledge of digital tools, with the ability to prepare interactive dashboards in PowerBI.
    • Language Skills: English (C1) and proficiency in Spanish and Portuguese would be an asset.

    Benefits

    We offer a competitive salary range of €60,000 - €80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits, including:
