    We are currently looking for a Process & Quality Engineer Trainee to join our industry leading Nalco Commercial Engineering team in Etxebarri (Bilbao). If you are a student in the final years of your degree and are looking for an internship to broaden your knowledge and gain experience, this opportunity is for you.

    • What You Will Do

  • Support the Quality Manager in the preparation of project risk analysis, as well as quality procedure maybe required to support project execution.
  • Work with quality assurance and quality control, project risk analysis (HAZOP, FMEA).
  • Prepare basic process design calculations (mass & heat balance, PFD).
  • Be familiar with engineering drawings (P&ID, mass balance, General Arrangement, data sheets, troubleshooting list, .
  • Prepare Technical reports to support decision making process
  • Read and provide comments of analytical reports showing chemical-physical characterization of different kind of water sources (. well water, brackish water, sea water, wastewater, process water).
  • Be aware of Safety & Environmental aspects of legislation.

    • Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical / Environmental Engineering
  • Knowledge about main standards for Quality assurance and Plant Risk analysis and ISO 9001 standards
  • Proven experience in lab pilot test even only at University
  • English / Spanish fluent written and verbal
  • People relating attitude and capable to work in team
  • Synthesis and pragmatic approach
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong learning agility
  • Open to travel
  • Familiarity with water treatment, environmental and sustainability topics
