The Green Recruitment has partnered with a leading Investment Fund with more than 50GW under development for a an experienced BESS and Green H2 Development Manager to join their team in Madrid.

Responsibilities:

Permitting management and Technical Business Development of BESS and Green H2 projects.
Coordinate and liaison with stakeholders.
Coordination and hybridation of projects under development.
Arrange site visits and meetings whilst delivering excellent community engagement at each stage of a project.
Lead endtoend project development activities for Onshore Wind Greenfield projects, ensuring projects are delivered within scope, timeline, and budget.
Manage project risks and opportunities, proactively identifying challenges and implementing mitigation strategies.
Collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams including engineering, finance, legal, and environmental specialists to ensure seamless project progression.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's or higher degree in environmental science, environmental management, or a related field.
More than 23 years in Business Development and/or environmental and permitting roles within the renewable energy sector.
Profound knowledge of Spanish environmental regulations and permitting processes.
Robust project management and organizational skills.
Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.
Proficiency in both independent and collaborative work settings.
