The Forecasting, Analytics and Market Research (FAM) Associate will be part of the current FAM Team at Lilly Spain, a function which encompasses these 3 critical functions within the Marketing department.

He/she will lead the efforts to achieve the goals concerning the 3 parts of the function for the brands under his/her responsibility.

The main responsibility will be providing insights, analysis and recommendations to key business partners which enable decision making, to ultimately achieve improved customer experience and business outcomes.


Turning data into insights requires to deal with a vast amount of information, (un)structured, quantitative, qualitative data, coming from various sources and functions.

Therefore, this role is accountable for strategic development, management and continuous improvement of end-to-end data processes consolidating data from various sources of the business.


This role is reserved for someone who is able to influence the organization to consistently harness the value of an analytical approach, has excellent technical skills combined with superior communication skills.

As such, those who will qualify for this position are both technically sound and have the ability to be a proactive change agent, adding value to Lilly's commercial organization.


Key responsibilities

Forecasting:

lead the forecast process for the brands under his/her responsibility, executing against the established governance, and integrating the input from a functional diverse group of professionals.


Analytics:
provide regular analysis of brand performance, integrating Insights from numerous sources. Provide recommendations for an improved execution. Lead the process for giving answer to ad-hoc business questions raised by the Brand Teams.

Market Research:
design and conduct quantitative and qualitative research for the brand. Lead the localization of Lilly International research studies.


On top, this person will bring expertise in Data Analytics to the FAM Team and become the expert on the field.

A key responsibility will be to develop the other team members skills and foster analytics understanding of the organization.


Location:
Alcobendas (Madrid).


Minimum Qualifications:


  • Bachelor degree, preferably in Health Science, Statistics, Business, Computer Science, or equivalent field of study.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Business Analytics.
  • Proficiency at cleaning, preparation and blending of data. Excellent data mining and modelling skills in MS Excel or other tools.

Skills Required:


  • Languages: Spanish bilingual and English C1/Advanced level.
  • Solid communication, data driven storytelling skills.
  • Influence, advocate for data driven decision making.
  • Team player, shares a common goal and contributes beyond his/her brands.
  • Structured thinking with logical, problemsolving mindset.
  • Ability to deal with complexity and ambiguity. Readiness to face new challenges.

Preferences**- Master's degree in Data Science, Biostatistics, Health Informatics, or related discipline.

  • Experience within the Pharmaceutical Industry.
  • Having worked in a Marketing Team as a crossfunctional business partner.
  • Excellent skills in data visualization (Tableau or Power BI).
  • Proven ability in coding and data manipulation skills (SQL).
  • Basic programming skills (e.g., R, Python).
  • Machine learning familiarity would be a plus.
  • Experience with Market Research and Forecasting.
