IT Ticketing Expert


Roles & Responsibilities:
Roles & Responsibilities


Ticketing and POS platform project management in agile frameworks (Kanban, Scrum) and supervision of the incumbent collaborative management tools (JIRA, Trello, TEAMS, etc.)


Responsible for the technical workstreams of the Ticketing, Access Control and POS technological platforms selected by the company, including market products and incumbent custom developments, during the implementation and support stages of the project.


Responsible for daily oversight, implementation, and execution of processes and technology used to support Ticketing and POS transactional platforms for all global users.


Responsible for the documentation during all the Ticketing, Access Control and POS product lifecycle, from technical requirements gathering to platform architectural and technical documentation.


Acts as a bridge between the functional areas (Operations, Revenue Management and other business departments) and the technical teams, both internal and external.

Resolution and monitoring of incidents in the platform and escalation to support teams.

Creation and management of technical test plans, functional, unit, integration, acceptance, performance, safety, regression, end to end tests, etc.

Coordination and management of go-live(s) from a technical point of view.

Responsible for KPI definition and management, both during the implementation and the post go-live stages.


Serve as domain specialist for the Ticketing and POS technological platforms to assist with design and delivery of training programs in support of the Ticketing and POS related processes and provide organizational change support.


Research and recommend quantitative and qualitative analysis of data from the Ticketing and POS platforms to design and maintain sophisticated reports for internal auditing, end-user information requests, and metrics reporting.

Prepare quarterly, annual, and ad-hoc reports regionally and globally.


Partner cross-functionally with global teams, parks' teams, Operations, IT, and vendors to solve issues and improve Ecommerce related processes and procedures.


Effectively communicate understanding of the data, reporting requests and business needs to proactively research solutions and provide suggestions for improvement.


Research industry trends, standard methodologies and review current processes to effectively provide company lodging sales performance analysis and recommend and implement potential improvements.

Handle highly confidential customer and company information with the utmost discretion.


Requirements:


Education:

Computer science or information systems engineer or equivalent experience.


Languages:
Spanish - Mother tongue.

English:
Fluent (B2 minimum, C1 preferred).

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in related position required.


Experience with full cycle implementation of a tier 1 Ticketing and POS system (Gateway, VGS, Vivaticket, Gartner) or a tier 1 retail and F&B POS (NCR Aloha, Oracle Micros, Toshiba Antara or SurePOS, Lightspeed, Microsoft Dynamics POS) required.

Experience with multi-country, multi-currency POS implementation required.

Experience with data integration between APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) required.

Experience with data integration platforms or enterprise service bus technologies (Mulesoft or similar) required.

Experience with complex POS projects in terms of integrations and interfaces required.


Experience in the definition, management and automation of tests, functional, unit, integration, acceptance, performance, safety, regression, end to end tests, etc.

Demonstrable ability to work independently and in a team setting.

Must be capable of working under tight time constraints and with multiple priorities.

Ability to:

Plan, organize and document complex finance systems interfaces design activities and to configure POS technological platforms to be consistent with data privacy policies/procedures; communicate technical/complex information both verbally and in writing; establish and maintain cooperation, understanding, trust and credibility; perform multiple tasks concurrently and respond to emergency situations effectively.


Ability to:

Plan, organize and document complex Ecommerce systems design activities and to configure POS technological platforms to be consistent with data privacy policies/procedures; communicate technical/complex information both verbally and in writing; establish and maintain cooperation, understanding, trust and credibility; perform multiple tasks concurrently and respond to emergency situations effectively.
