We are looking for an Analyst/Consultant to join our well-established public policy practice, which conducts studies, evaluations, and impact assessments for the EU institutions, and the European Commission in particular.

Our current portfolio of projects reflects the diversity of the policy areas covered by DG Justice.

Examples of some of our recent and current assignments include the evaluation of the Erasmus+ program and support for the design of its successor, a study on health warning labels of alcoholic beverages, and the evaluation of the InvestEU program.

The position entails conducting quantitative analysis in a wide array of fields ranging from economic and financial policies to justice and consumer policies, migration, security, health and food, and environment.

The level of complexity of the analysis will be commensurate to experience, however, as a general indication,

Our early career roles typically involve:

  • Undertaking high-quality research, analysis, and data collection activities,
  • Carrying out research and fieldwork tasks on specific countries,
  • Conducting qualitative (experience with NVIVO an advantage) and/or quantitative analysis (experience with Excel is essential and SPSS, STATA desirable),
  • Contribution to cost-benefit/cost-effectiveness analyses
  • Contribute to the design of surveys developed for specific projects, and analyze their results using appropriate statistical techniques
  • Literature reviews
  • Arranging, conducting, and facilitating interviews, surveys, and focus groups,
  • Accompanying colleagues on-site visits and to client meetings,
  • Collaborating closely with other project teams, external partners, and stakeholders,
  • Contribute towards the preparation of tenders and reports for the European Commission and other EU clients.
  • Strong research, analytical and reporting skills,
  • Knowledge of European policy-making process and EU Institutions,
  • Excellent written (including editing and proofreading skills) and oral (fluency in English and at least one other European language) communication skills,
  • Highly developed, interpersonal skills and self-motivation,
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy,The personal qualities we look for are:
